Safety Induction Training
Statistics show that most accidents to new employees happen in the first two weeks of their work. It is important for a learner to receive in-company health and safety induction training before the employee is placed in the workplace.

In any working environment, induction should include the following:
  • Tour of the premises and introduction to key staff
  • The company’s legal responsibilities and duty of care
  • The learner’s legal responsibilities to themselves and others
  • The company’s health and safety policy, organisation and arrangements
  • Supervision arrangements
  • Risks and the control measures
  • Prohibitions and health and safety rules
  • Emergency and fire arrangements
  • First aid arrangements
  • Accident, ill health and other incident reporting and investigating.
The Resources.ie Group provides Health and Safety Induction Training solutions to all sectors of industry. We can develop and deliver an 'Induction Package' for your business which will meet all requirements of the Duty of Care principle, and also allows your employees to operate confidently and safely in the work areas.
We have extensive experience in developing Employee Safety Manuals and similar documents for a wide variety of industries.
In addition, Safety Induction Programmes developed by us are fully accessible to all levels within your organisation and once in place can be easily delivered by key staff with responsibility for Human Resource and Health and Safety functions, if required.
